Prov 18:24 (NLT).

"There are 'friends' who destroy each other, but a real friend(JESUS) sticks closer than a brother" .

Prov 18:24(KJV).

 " A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend(JESUS) that sticks closer than a brother"

There is no friend like Him.In your time of need, in the time of challenges, in the time when you are faced with the stark realities of life, you may discover that everyone has deserted you. Even when your close friends have suddenly disappeared into the thin air, leaving you alone when you need them the most.There is a friend who is always there for you and ever there with you. He sticks closer than a brother. His name is Jesus. He is greater than all the problems and challenges facing you.Cast your burdens onto Him. He is ever ready to carry them. Praise God! 

 Confession for today

I know I have a friend who sticks closer than a brother. He is always there for me. He alone knows my weaknesses and will never let me down. Right now I am being comforted by His Holy Spirit and by His surpassing love. Thank you Jesus for being that friend, Lord and saviour.Amen.
