THE SWORD OF THE LORD!

The Sword of Lord is here to pierce and punish the enemy

Today’s reading is taken from;

Judges 7:18-22 AMP

 When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then you blow the trumpets also on every side of all the camp and shout, For the LORD and for Gideon! So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outskirts of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, when the guards had just been changed, and they blew the trumpets and smashed the pitchers that were in their hands. 

And the three companies blew the trumpets and shattered the pitchers, holding the torches in their left hands, and in their right hands the trumpets to blow [leaving no chance to use the swords], and they cried, The Sword for the Lord and Gideon! They stood everyman in his place round about the camp and all the [Midianites] army ran –they cried out and fled. 

When [Gideon’s men] blew the 300 trumpets, the Lord set every [Midianite’s] sword against his comrade and against all the army, and the army fled as far as Bet-shittah towards Zererah, as far as the border of Abel-meholah by Tabbath.

I heard in the spirit that some believers are under serious demonic attacks. The enemy has plotted evil and organised schemes in order to carry out this devilish plan against you or your loved ones. At times when the enemy knows he cannot get to you he goes after your family members. 

If you are that one, listen to this: The enemy will not succeed. I don’t want to know how fierce the attack is or how intense the attack the enemy is launching against you but all I know is that they will not succeed. Their plot and attack will fail. This is the word of the LORD to you and your situation.

WHY? -Because the hosts of heaven have come to your rescue. God’s mighty warrior angels that excel in strength are on your side.  Know this child of God, The LORD of hosts has taken over your battle. But you must first do some housekeeping. Make sure that you have not opened any doors for the enemy.

Judges 6:1-4 AMP

But the Israelites did evil in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord gave them into the hand of Midian for seven years. And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of Midian, the Israelites made themselves the dens which are in the mountains and the caves and the strongholds. For whenever Israel has sown their seed, the Midianites and the Amalekites and the people of the east came up against them. They would encamp against them and destroy the crops as far as Gaza and leave no nourishment for Israel and no ox or sheep or donkey.

The bible shows us in Judges 6 that the people sinned and the enemy (Midianites) invaded the land, pillaged and plundered their goods. It might be because of sin you are being attacked now but the LORD will show you mercy if you ask for forgiveness. He has stepped into your case like He did for the Children of Israel when the Midianites were devastating their land. Your enemies are in trouble.

They may be numerous in number that gathered against you or are conspiring against you; the Lord has come for your deliverance. He has raised His sword of war against them. He has marshalled out His sword of destruction against the troubler of your life and destiny.

”Don’t be afraid: for there are more on our side than on theirs!” (2 Kings 6:16 NLT). 

Gods Angels are blowing the trumpets and are shouting, the shout of victory, “For the LORD AND FOR HIS SON, JESUS” To God be all the glory. You are delivered!

 CONFESSION

(pray this prayer with holy anger)   

 Please LORD come and take over this war and battle raging against my life and destiny. There is no war or battle that lasted longer than necessary where You are invited. You are the Mighty Man in battle. 

Every war You take over is always won before the blink of an eye and Songs of victory sang by Your people. You are the Lord of Hosts, step into this battle and put my enemies to shame.

Marshal out, O Lord, your sword of deliverance for my sake! This is because each time You raise your Sword, fears and jitters are sent to the camp of the enemy. Let them turn their weapons of destruction against themselves. Let that evil decree of death revert back to the sender, in Jesus name I pray!
