THERE IS NO PROBLEM UNTIL YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THERE IS A PROBLEM.

Numbers 20:2-12
2 Now there was no water for the people, and they gathered together against Moses and Aaron. 3 The people complained to Moses, saying, “If only we had died when our brothers died before the Lord! 4 Why have you brought the Lord’s people into this desert, for us and our animals to die here? 5 Why have you made us come up from Egypt, to bring us into this bad place? It is not a place of grain, or figs, or vines, or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink.” 6 Then Moses and Aaron went from the people to the door of the meeting tent, and bowed to the ground. They saw the shining-greatness of the Lord. 7 The Lord said to Moses, 8 “Take the special stick. You and your brother Aaron gather the people together. Speak to the rock in front of them and it will give its water. So you will bring water out of the rock for them. Let the people and their animals drink.” 9 So Moses took the special stick from before the Lord, just as He had told him. 10 Moses and Aaron gathered the people in front of the rock. And he said to them, “Listen now, you people who go against the Lord. Should we bring water for you out of this rock?” 11 Then Moses lifted up his hand and hit the rock twice with his stick, and more than enough water came out. The people and their animals drank. 12 But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you have not believed Me and honored Me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, you will not bring these people into the land I have given them.”

Beloved whatever you do not consider a problem is not a problem to God. God does not have problem and He is not bound to consider your problem His problem until you tell Him you have a problem or you are the problem. That does not make Him a less-God. No, He is and will continue to be ALMIGHTY GOD.

That does not mean that He does not know you have a problem or you are the problem. No, He knows and will continue to be an ALL-KNOWING GOD.  That you did not consider your problem, a problem does not mean that God is far-fetched. No, He is still an EVER-PRESENT GOD, EVER-NEARER and even more nearer to us than ever before. He is everywhere. He can reach all situations and circumstances.

Moses was a great man of God who had an anger problem but he never considered it a problem. God never considered it His problem either because in all honesty anger was never a problem to God. Moses was one of the few men on earth that God never denied their requests. The only visible thing on record that he asked for and God said no, was his request that He be allowed to enter the promise land after anger in him broke God’s plans and programme for the children of Israel. God never denied Moses anything he asked for but he never asked God to remove anger from him.
On several occasions when the children of Israel incurred the wrath of God, Moses was the one who prevailed on God in prayer from destroying them. He cried to God in mercy each time they erred and God always responded to his appeal for mercy. He spoke to God face to face but he never presented anger as a problem to God among many requests he usually took to God. Eventually anger prevented Moses from entering the promise Land. That negligence on the part of that great man of God changed the course of history and eventually the destiny of a nation and people of God.

Have you ever sat down and thought about what the fate of the children of Israel would have been today if Moses had entered the promise land? We all have a duty before God. Both believers and unbelievers have the same duty. A Believers’ duty is telling God where they need a divine touch and improvement in their lives. An unbeliever’s duty is to surrender to Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour and join believers in reminding God of areas in their lives that need His attention. If you do that, it will pattern you into God’s plan and programme and will not allow the enemy to derail your life; and the destiny of your unborn generations will not be short-changed.

Beloved, I pray that wherever you are right now, you would carry out a spiritual search and an X-ray of your life and find out areas in your life that need a divine touch. Take it to the altar of the cross. That is our modern day tent of tabernacle where Moses usually took his problems to God. Take all that you consider a problem to Him. Remember it is what you call a problem that is the problem. So take a look at yourself and consider what you are going through, it could be that heavy load or burden you are carrying; take it to Him for He cares for you. It could be a serious problem or sin you know you are indulging in. Take it to God. It could be those little foxes that spoil the vine. Moses considered anger a small sin and it cost him the promise land and nearly denied him Heaven. Don’t overlook anything! This is what the race for Heaven entails. God bless.
