A Season of Love and Gifts.

For God so greatly loved and prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in(trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish(come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life (John 3:16 AMP).

This is the season of gift giving and love. A time to share our love with one another; a time to give and receive. Child of God, I just want to remind you that there is no greater gift other than the gift of our Lord Jesus Christ given to humanity by the God-Head. It is this gift that brought back hope and eternal life.

This gift came as a result of God’s everlasting love for mankind. It was given to undeserved, unqualified and unmerited mankind fit only for destruction. God gave His all and best for you.

When God gave His best for you, it opened the door of salvation, prosperity and wealth for all who believe in Him. It was God’s gift to mankind that reconciles you with God and smoothens your relationship with the Everlasting Father, the Alpha and Omega, the LORD who is God.

It offers healing and lightens the burden placed on your soul by circumstances. And because God gave His best, we can today stand firmly and talk about deliverance and answered prayers.

In a like manner, you must give your best in this season of love and giving of gifts. Don’t withhold anything good but withhold only evil. God increases and multiplies what you give. He increases the basket from which you give. The basket of a giver can never be empty. The pocket of he who gives cannot be empty. The scripture says, wealth and riches will continually be in his house and his righteous doing will be remembered forever (Psalm 112:3).

God expects you to give in this period in an unceasing manner. Give without looking back. Give even where it pains you. Do you know it pained God when He gave Jesus Christ for your sake? God received Jesus Christ because He gave Him out. Abraham received Isaac back because he gave him to God as a sacrifice.
