THE THIRD DAY AS A FIRST FRUITS AND
REGENERATION
Genesis 2:11-13 shows
us that on the third day God caused the earth to be fruitful. That was when the
seed that would produce after its own kind was created and began its mandate
to be fruitful and multiply. Beloved, Jesus Christ is the first born of the new
covenant. God promised in Genesis 3:15 when He was pronouncing judgement on the
serpent in the garden of Eden [a place of living voluptuously in delight
according to Strong’s concordance] that He would “...Send
a seed that would bruise his (serpent/satan’s) head.” Head meaning headship, rulership, rank by
implication the kingdom or system of satan in the earth and over mankind.
Here we see that
Father was saying, “I will send my Son, Jesus to restore you [mankind] to the
station that was usurped by satan. Not only that, but I will elevate you to a
place He can never reach.” That is simply, through Jesus we become part of the
unity and love that exists in the God Head as we are in
Christ. Amen! Satan always coveted that position and He will never know the joy
that God gives us as His children.
Remember Beloved,
Jesus is no longer the baby in the manger. Neither is he lying in a tomb
trapped by death. He has risen and He is The Lord of Gods armies, He is the
King of kings, the perfect high priest. He is a warrior KING. And we are born
after His own kind. We must
understand who we are IN
Christ. We are not defeated, afraid or caged. God has given us the power to
occupy and rule until Jesus comes back for us in the rapture. Beloved it is not
in your power or might that all this happens; it is by the POWER and working of
Holy Spirit. We have no power of our own. Everything (gifting etc.) is given to
us for the following purpose. Jesus said: Luke 13:32 (AMP) And
He said to them, Go and tell that fox [sly and crafty, skulking and cowardly],
Behold, I drive out demons and perform healings today and tomorrow, and on the third
day I finish (complete) My course. What does this mean? We are tools in
the hand of Almighty God to destroy the dominion and kingdom of satan. We are
God’s agents of change in the earth. We are to bring back the KINGDOM OF GOD on
earth in all its might and power. Let Holy Spirit stir you up and
ask Him to reveal how this will manifest in your daily walk.

THE THIRD DAY AS A DAY OF REVELATION
Let us go back to
John 2: (AMP) and the wedding. 4 Jesus
said to her, [Dear] woman, what is that to you and to Me? [What do we have in
common? Leave it to Me.] My time
(hour to act) has not yet come.5 His mother said to the
servants, Whatever He says to you, do it. And later in: 11 This, the first of His signs
(miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His
glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His
disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].
From these two
scriptures, we can see that it was on this day that God chose to manifest and
display His power and might. Where else can we see this in the word? In Exodus
we see that God revealed Himself to Israel in the desert on this day (third
day). Exodus
19:11 (NIV) And be ready by the third day,
for the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai [in
the cloud] in the sight of all the people. Exodus 19:16 (NIV) On the morning
of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick
cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp
trembled. If you read on you will see that this is where God
gave Moshe the 10 commandments on Mount Sinai; after He descended upon it in
the form of Holy Fire. Our God is a consuming fire literally and spiritually.
