Which is easier to say: Your Sins Are Forgiven or Get Up and Walk? (Part 2)

Spiritual Warning To The Church
But Jesus, knowing (seeing) their thoughts, said, Why do you think evil and harbor malice in your hearts? For which is easier: to say, Your sins are forgiven and the penalty remitted, or to say, Get up and walk? But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins and remit the penalty, He then said to the paralyzed man, Get up! Pick up your sleeping pad and go to your own house (Matthew 9:4-6 AMPC).

A need for sanctification
Beloved of God let us take a look at the spiritual implication of this biblical passage on a Holy assembly level (Church). It is a spiritual warning to the body of Christ and to the Pastors. The church needs sanctification. The Church from the altar to the pew needs inner cleansing. The message from the altar in this end time should change to an emphasis on repentance so that we can declare “your sins are forgiven” before “take up your bed, walk and go home”. Listen beloved, this message should not discourage or scare you but when pastors are not preaching on “your sins are forgiven” [salvation through Christ] but emphasizing “rise up and walk” [miracles without accountability]; what they are doing is preparing the congregants to rot in hell fire.

Seeking after miracles and not the Lord of Miracles
When I talk about the rise up and walk camp, I am generally talking about the signs and wonders people come to see, and receive in ‘Churches’. Their interest is not repentance and sanctification but quick fixes. I am talking about return on investment (ROI) preaching in our various ‘Churches’. When the message from the altar or crusade is always donate $10,000 and you will receive $1million, the congregation is being prepared to rot in hell.

Beware of strange fires
Beloved I am not against the “rise up, take up your bed and go home” message under the anointing and influence of the HOLY SPIRIT, I am against the duplicitous message of rise up and walk that is engineered to fleece the desperation and ignorance of people. I am against the magic and manipulation, and dubious activity of “some men of god”. I am calling on the body of Pastors to follow in the footstep of Jesus Christ by telling the congregants and miracle seekers first, their sins need to be forgiven before telling them to rise up and walk.

The main duty of a pastor is to prepare the congregation under his/her watch for Heaven. The position of a Pastor in the Church of Christ is to break yokes and set the captive free from sin. Pastors are supposed to be men and women with the authority and power of God. But they can only acquire genuine authority and power from God if they follow and keep to the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

The anointing of God can easily dry up in the life of a man/woman of God, when they continue to veer off Christ’s footsteps. Again Jesus Christ while laying the foundation of His Church on Earth referred to it as the rock that the gates of hell shall not prevail against.

18 And I tell you, you are Peter [Greek, Petros—a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra —a huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it]. (Matthew 16:18 AMPC)

A warning to ‘shepherds and leaders’
Why is the gate of hell encroaching on the Church and the Church incapable of resisting the devil and his cohort? It is the content of the message emanating from the Church that has open door for hell. The rise up, and walk message. The hobnobbing with satanic agents in the corridor of dark powers by Pastors. Some are even campaigning for or endorsing them in the name of change. Aligning the Church with satanic agents under the guise of sharing the same ideology hidden from the congregants is deception.

All these have combined to weaken the foundation of the Church. If the foundation is destroyed what can the righteous do? (Psalm 11:3) But listen Jesus Christ whom we all profess to be our Shepherd is watching! He is coming with His warrior angels to judge the Church. He is coming to judge all those who are busy destroying the foundation of the Church He laid. Beware because when He comes “the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal ones of the flock any means of escape” (Jeremiah 25:35). It is not yet too late in the day to repent. You are warned! God bless!! Shalom!!!
