What is a covenant? In very simple words it is a promise. What is this scripture saying to me and you? God is a God of justice; He will not enter into a covenant with you and disappoint you. He does not only establish His covenant with you but with your descendants. Let’s look at what the Lord is saying to you in His word.
Genesis 17:7 (NASB)
7 I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you.
Isaiah 55:3 (NASB)
3 “Incline your ear and come to Me.
Listen, that you may live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
According to the faithful mercies shown to David.
I would encourage you to take up this offer and make a covenant with the Father in Jesus name; a covenant to allow Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour. Once under His covering you can expect His goodness and benefits to flood your life. Not just materially but spiritually.
God is restoring and recompensing His people. The LORD in keeping with His promise is comforting His people. He is turning the mourning mood of many into joy.
