KNOW THE WILES OF THE ENEMY

Joshua 11:1-12 or refer to dealing with the conspiracy of darkness

 Isaiah 49:24-26 (NASB)

²⁴ “Can the prey be taken from the mighty man,
Or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?”

²⁵ Surely, thus says the LORD,

“Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away,
And the prey of the tyrant will be rescued;
For I will contend with the one who contends with you,
And I will save your sons.
²⁶ “I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh,
And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine;
And all flesh will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Mark 3:27 (NASB)

²⁷ But no one can enter the strong man’s house and plunder his property unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house.

Today in conclusion of this study, let us look at the activities of the remaining Kings and the role played by these kings, as agents of satan, in their unsuccessful attempt to stop Joshua and the children of Israel from entering into the promise land.

The kings of Shimron and Achshaph, the kings who were in the hill country and in Arabah south of Chinneroth and in the lowland and the heights of Dor on the West. Also the kings of Canaanites in the East and West; the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Hivites were all united in purpose and action. I don’t want to belabour you with the meaning and significance of these kingdoms and nations for we have adequately tackled that in our last couples of posts. The only obvious thing to add here is that the kings of these kingdoms rule and influence their subjects according to the root name of these nations.

LESSONS?

 LESSON: The first lesson to learn from these alliances formed by these kings is that the enemy satan is not everywhere. He works through organized and coordinated networks. He anoints and appoints strongmen, principalities, powers and other servient and subservient spirits to oversee the activities of the kingdom of darkness. 

They always unite in purpose and action whenever they are threatened or are attacked by a believer in prayer. They can call for reinforcement, regroup and re-attack at a slightest and unexpected moment.

 Beloved again, what I want you to understand from this portion of the scripture is that all these countries and nations were formerly under the rulership of one satanic chief strongman, Jabin. However at a point in time they revolted and asserted their independence and became strongmen on their own.

LESSON: the principle of freedom is the same everywhere even in the kingdom of darkness: Revolt. If you are under attack from the enemy and his cohorts, the language he understands is VIOLENCE. Violence against the devil is the only road to freedom. The scripture says “since the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force.”

Another important fact to note here is that, that they became independent does not mean JABIN’s sphere of influence was no longer there, so let us not be deluded or be deceived by that satanic gimmick. No, he still wielded a large sphere of influence and authority over these kingdoms. He controlled their kings and determined what happened there. You can quickly see how they formed an alliance against the children of Israel.

LESSON: this means, it is impossible to declare yourself free when you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour. Being under a satanic realm and web, and revolting attracts instant judgment: death.

However, I am here to declare to you that no circumstance is beyond the redemption of Jesus. JESUS, the captain and commander of heavens armies is well able to set you free from anything. Some of you belong to secret societies and the devil has threatened you with death if you leave. You have seen the mercilessness of the darkness and you have been made to believe there is no way out and it is a point of no return. The bible tells me and you that the devil is a LIAR!  Whether you practice witchcraft, freemasonry, satanism, sorcery, occultism and paganism, or even if you have made human sacrifices, I want you to hear the word of God. Christ died to make you free to wash you of that deep rooted sin and filth. The Shinning One, JESUS CHRIST of NAZARETH has the power to set you free and PROTECT you. All you need to do is ask Him.

To the rest of believers I urge you to stay on course. Keep the flames of fire burning! Keep the flag of prayer up. You are coasting home to victory.

Prayer Points.  

·        Pray the following prayers with holy anger. With authority, raise your voice, and command in the power of the HOLY SPIRIT. Remember we have no power of our own but we have the Holy Spirit and the Host of heaven backing us up when we pray in faith in Jesus name. Before praying each prayer, shout the name of JESUS CHRIST, the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST and HOLY GHOST FIRE 3 times. Confess all your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you. Never ever enter a battle without doing this. Sin breaks the hedge. 

·        Holy Ghost fire, form a wall of fire round about me as I move into battle against the strongmen of my life and destiny.

·        LORD don’t let the enemy touch me, the apple of your eye (Zechariah 2:8).

·        I declare every evil decision taken against me by the kingdom of darkness null and void and of no effect. 

·        Every power, force or darkness holding me captive, release me by fire in the name of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 49:24-26). I revolt against you and declare myself free from your stronghold.

·        Every lawful and unlawful seizure of my goods, riches and prosperity by any strongman be released to me by fire (Isa 49: 24-26).

·        Every organized and coordinated network of attacks against my life and destiny scatter by fire. I send every evil arrow fired back to sender. I command Holy fire to destroy their weapons of attack.

·        Every evil alliance of the kingdom of darkness against my life and destiny scatter by fire (Joshua 11:1-6). Let the fire of God break the cord of their alliance and burn them to ashes.

·        I destroy and remove all hindrances, obstacles, blockades and strongholds erected by the strongman of my life and destiny. I set them ablaze and I command my riches, prosperity, dreams, jobs, etc to manifest in the mighty name of Jesus.
