God is great and almighty in every sphere you look at His nature. He created us in His own image to recreate and reconceptualise our environments, make things and events to happen as we desire them according to His word and purposes. He created all things out of nothing. He gave us the same ability to create, recreate and make things happen at His unction.
In other words, God created us as agents of change. If you desire to be prosperous you must be an agent of change for the kingdom of God. You must be a paradigm shifter. God will empower you with wisdom to make wealth. You must engineer and engender change using biblical principles. When you consult the wisdom of God you will be a solution giver to your generation. This wisdom will open doors for you as you become an expert. But you must adapt to the change that God wants to effect, not the other way around.
Genesis 41: 37 – 41 Common English Bible
37 This advice seemed wise to Pharaoh and all his servants, 38 and Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find a man with more God-given gifts than this one?” 39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, no one is as intelligent and wise as you are. 40 You will be in charge of my kingdom, and all my people will obey your command. Only as the enthroned king will I be greater than you.” 41 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Know this: I’ve given you authority over the entire land of Egypt.”
Be a lead dreamer and visioner. You must be dreaming dreams that will bring about change to the glory of God. Then pursue your dreams with unwavering focus and passion that will make you transform your dream into concrete reality. Let’s look at this practically from the word by further looking at Joseph who was sold by his brothers into slavery.
Genesis 45:1-8 CEB,
Joseph said to his brothers, “Come closer to me,” and they moved closer. He said, “I’m your brother Joseph! The one you sold to Egypt. 5 Now, don’t be upset and don’t be angry with yourselves that you sold me here. Actually, God sent me before you to save lives. 6 We’ve already had two years of famine in the land, and there are five years left without planting or harvesting. 7 God sent me before you to make sure you’d survive and to rescue your lives in this amazing way. 8 You didn’t send me here; it was God who made me a father to Pharaoh, master of his entire household, and ruler of the whole land of Egypt.
Joseph was a man who learnt stewardship through the hard way. He was blackmailed and thrown into jail by the enemy but he was undeterred. He kept his vision intact even when it was to his own hurt because he knew where God was leading him to. To be the head.
Beloved you are the head and not the tail. That is your destiny in Christ. That perception produced a passion that developed into Gods prophetic agenda of being an agent of change as we see in verse 5b to 8. He ended up leaving a legacy that still speaks to generation after generation. He turned the drought and famine stricken economy of the then Egypt to a prosperous one. He excelled under very difficult circumstances.
Genesis 41: 42 – 44 Common English Bible
42 Pharaoh took his signet ring from his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand, he dressed him in linen clothes, and he put a gold necklace around his neck. 43 He put Joseph on the chariot of his second-in-command, and everyone in front of him cried out, “Attention!” So Pharaoh installed him over the entire land of Egypt. 44 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh; no one will do anything or go anywhere in all the land of Egypt without your permission.”
Do you want to be blessed, blessed even in this current economic recession ravaging the world’s economy? Blessed to be a blessing? Why don’t you be an agent of change? You can be the Joseph for your generation. God is looking for those who will turn the world around to His own Glory through His divine plan by keying into His prophetic agenda. God’s prophetic agenda for our generation is that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers. 3 John1:2 AMP
As you prosper you become a stronghold of assistance to others. This is the purpose of riches, wealth and prosperity. God does not only want to provide for you but for others. That is why you must pray for MORE than enough.
Genesis 45:1-8 CEB
9 “Hurry! Go back to your father. Tell him this is what your son Joseph says: ‘God has made me master of all of Egypt. Come down to me. Don’t delay. 10 You may live in the land of Goshen, so you will be near me, your children, your grandchildren, your flocks, your herds, and everyone with you. 11 I will support you there, so you, your household, and everyone with you won’t starve, since the famine will still last five years.’
You can make your family and greater community or your immediate environment a better place through allowing the dream God has for it to manifest through you. Abundance such as riches, wealth, and prosperity will flow back to you. The lost, the dying, the tormented, the hungry, the poor, the homeless, the prisoner, the widow, the orphan and foreigner are all waiting for you to manifest the plan of God for your life. Beloved be an agent of change in Jesus name! He will be with you 100%
