GOD WILL SURELY DELIVER YOU

Beloved of God, today the Spirit of God ministered to me that there are a lot of believers that are feeling down in their spirit. I just want to encourage you from Psalm 44:1-8. If I am speaking to you and you have reached the point where you want to give up, today is your day for restoration. Let’s look at the word more closely from the Amplified bible.

Psalm 44

To the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the sons of Korah. A skillful song, or a didactic or reflective poem.
1WE HAVE heard with our ears, O God; our fathers have told us [what] work You did in their days, in the days of old.2You drove out the nations with Your hand and it was Your power that gave [Israel] a home by rooting out the [heathen] peoples, but [Israel] You spread out.
The first thing we can see is, when you are down you need to meditate on all the past issues God has brought you out of. Think about an instance where you were faced with a challenge that seemed to be insurmountable. Remember how impossible it looked in your eyes. Do you remember when you had exhausted all human effort and were left with one option? The God option? It is not always easy to trust God when it seems like things are going awry but learn from the sons of Korah. They began to magnify the Lord in their thoughts and speech. They did not just rely on their own personal testimonies but drew on the testimony of other believers whom had been delivered. Let’s look at this same scripture from the message:
1-2 We've been hearing about this, God, all our lives. Our fathers told us the stories their fathers told them, How single-handedly you weeded out the godless from the fields and planted us, How you sent those people packing but gave us a fresh start.
Most note worthy is that God is trustworthy, this account is intergenerational. Secondly, God does not need your help, for He can single handily accomplish a deliverance and turnaround of your situation. But the condition is that you need to trust Him. Be still beloved and know that He is God. Don’t you know that God can fight for you much better than you can for yourself? There is a reward for not trusting in “your own sword” or loosely translated your own ability, street smarts, money or oral skills. When you trust in God, He will fight for you and reward you too. Let’s look at verse 3 (AMP) to understand this principle better.
3For they got not the land [of Canaan] in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your countenance [did it], because You were favorable toward and did delight in them.
You might need Jesus to save you from a terrible situation; foreclosure, divorce, a sick loved one, unemployment to name a few. Why don’t you call upon the favour of the Lord to deliver you? It is interesting to see that God mentions the light of His countenance. He is referring to the fact that He will overshadow you, comfort you, protect you and most importantly lead you to a place of safety. Remember He tells us that His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light for our souls (mind/emotions/will).

Think about when the children of Israel were in the desert; God sent the angel of the Lord to lead them through giant infested lands safely. He caused them to triumph against great odds. Why don’t you hand over your situation to God right now? He is willing to help you. The message bible puts it this way, 3‘We didn't fight for this land; we didn't work for it—it was a gift! You gave it, smiling as you gave it, delighting as you gave it.”
The second key after you fill your imagination and thought life with the Lords word and His great ability to deliver you from every circumstance, is to petition Him.
4You are my King, O God; command victories and deliverance for Jacob (Israel). 5Through You shall we push down our enemies; through Your name shall we tread them under who rise up against us.AMP
Say, You're my King, O God—command victories for Me! With your help we'll wipe out our enemies, in your name Jesus we'll stomp them to dust!” Do you notice that when you start trusting God He teams up with you to form an invincible team? How awesome is that? Again, access to this victory is through the name of Jesus. When you call on the name of Jesus look at what He will do for you.
6For I will not trust in and lean on my bow, neither shall my sword save me. 7But You have saved (me – own emphasis) from our foes and have put them to shame who hate us.
We have all been in a situation where there are people around us who would love to see us embarrassed and ashamed; a jealous co worker, ‘friend’ or relative.  I have good news for you child of God, no matter what this overt or covert enemies do in terms of blackening your name and reputation, GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU! He will turn it around for you. Does He not promise in Psalm 23 to set a table before you in the presence of your enemies? Do not fret, give it to God in prayer. Apply the principles I mentioned earlier and you will see the salvation of the LORD. When the circumstance tells you, its over and you are finished tell that situation about how big your God is. Did He not deliver David from Goliath, did He not use 300 men to deliver the Israelites from the Midianite army? If He parted the red sea, he can surely deliver you. Remember He is the God that answers by fire!  Say,”I don't trust in weapons; my sword won't save me—But it's you, you who saved us [all believers] from the enemy; you made those who hate us lose face. All day I will parade your praise God —I thank you by name over and over.” (MSG)
Find scriptures where God delivers His people, meditate on them and apply them to your life.
8In God we have made our boast all the day long,[this a deliberate and meditated action where you are consistently choosing to believe the in the ability of God. Remember, Faith comes by hearing the word of God]  and we will give thanks to Your name forever. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
Thanks giving is a powerful weapon. Give God a sacrifice of praise by commanding everything in you to bless His Holy Name. Thanks giving says God I trust you so much that by faith I am thanking you for my breakthrough. My brother, my sister your family will be restored, drugs and alcohol will loosen their grip in your bloodline. Whatever your situation, GOD WILL SURELY DELIVER YOU. If God delivered Paul and Silas from a prison cell, GOD WILL SURELY DELIVER YOU.

Tomorrow I will make a special post because it will be the 11/11/11. Log on to find out what God has for you.
