2012: Open doors and opportunities.

Beloved welcome to 2012! You made it, by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ! This is the year of open doors and divine opportunities.

 

1 Corinthians 16:9 (KJV)

 ⁹For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

1 Corinthians 16:9 (AMP)

⁹For a wide door of opportunity for effectual [service] has opened to me [there, a great and promising one], and [there are] many adversaries.

But as you know when any door is opened anything can pass through both good and evil. We must not leave our doors unguarded. We must be watchmen and gatekeepers all through the year. 

Psalm 24:7- 10 (AMP)

⁷Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in. ⁸Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. ⁹Lift up your heads, O you gates; yes, lift them up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in.¹⁰Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah [pause, and think of that]!

We must not let in everything. This is because the devil will try to enter into the presence of the Lord together with the Angels of God but the door will be shut against him. Believers all over the world should do the same thing [shut the devil out with prayer]. A lot of good things are going to happen this year for many believers. Many believers will be blessed. Riches and prosperity in Heaven will be released to the people of God. There will be restoration in a great magnitude. Many who lost their jobs will be gainfully employed. There will be relative peace the world over in 2012. But this will only happen if believers are not complacent all through the year.

Believers who are watchful will surely, 'Taste, see and confirm that the Lord is good'(Ps 34:8). Those who are not watchful will witness a mixture of events in 2012 principally because they refuse to watch and pray.
