HOW TO SOW THE WORD INTO YOUR LIFE

What emerged from the teaching we learnt so far is God revealing to us the secret of living and getting blessed as we practice our Christian living. He said, “In order to live, move and have my being you must sow my Word.” As soon as this revelation was brought to my knowledge, I began to see the power and life in the word of God.

 

Immediately after that, I saw the power in the word. Then I began to ask the Word of God to become life in my life and destiny. In Gen 1, the Word of God created all things. Because the WORD was the only One existing before creation. As God was speaking, His word was manifesting things that did not exist. After creating all things He would declare again with the word that they were good.

Let us see the account of how He created humans as detailed in Gen 1: “²⁶God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. ²⁷So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. ²⁸And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth. ²⁹And God said, See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the land and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.”

 

And in, (Gen 2:7 AMP), ^“7Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being”.

What happened here was that God sowed His likeness and nature in sand which He moulded with His Hand (mud). And what came out was life.

God did not stop there; because when you plant a seed and it germinates you need to take care of it. He was nurturing and nursing the life from the sand that He created.  There also comes a time that it bears fruits. He went further and blessed His creation, and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiple and replenish the Earth” for I have put my seed, the seed of life in you.

 

Beloved the Word of GOD is still a living word, still creating things back and forth. You need to sow the WORD for the word to become life. If you do not sow a seed (acorn) into the ground you will not get an oak tree. You have to sow the seed in the ground. The seed has to die first. It will then germinate and sprout. When it sprouts and germinates it means that there is life coming out. Sprouting means that life has come. You need to practically sow the word in all the areas of your life that need divine attention. That is the mystery and secret of successful living God revealed to me.

Then He said to me, “After sowing the word you should water it with the blood of my one and only son Jesus Christ." The blood of Jesus is like the fertilizer, manure, and insecticide and pesticide a farmer adds to his crops. Continue to add and sprinkle the blood to the seed you planted.

Next, He said, "Command the planting of my word to begin to bear fruit immeasurably and innumerably like I did after creating humans by charging them to increase, multiply and replenish the Earth”. 

²⁸And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth” (Gen 1:28).  

The mystery that is in the word is that God by His Spirit turns the word into a planting that is why the scripture says, “Every planting that is not of the Lord shall be uprooted.

Finally, Listen, Beloved when you sow the Word (Scripture, which is Jesus Christ) of God in your life and destiny or any area of your life, the Word of God (Christ, Messiah) becomes LIFE in you. And because the WORD which is LIFE (God, Christ, Messiah) Who has been in existence from the beginning, the Word sown in your life will abide in you.  This is so because God does not die; neither does His Son Jesus Christ. They live forever and from everlasting to everlasting. 

The life (Christ) in you will manifest in various forms visibly. People will hear, see and confirm that your life bears testimony of the greatness of the Almighty God. You will enjoy fellowship as partner and partaker of the wonder working power of the Word. Similarly, the Word will not only produce immeasurable fruit in your life, as you live, grow and abide in it; it will also bring meaning into your life and destiny. You will then fulfil the purpose for which God created you on Earth.
